First of all, we would like to express our sincere condolences for the victims of the COVID-19. We also wish those who are infected with the disease a quick recovery.

Due to the current situation of the COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the 28th Japan Mountain Endurance Race (HASETSUNE CUP) scheduled to be held on October 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun), 2020.

We believe it is difficult to manage a large-scale event attended by 5,000 people or so including runners, staff and spectators, given the situation that the vaccine development or the medical treatment has not been securely established yet. There are also fears of a second wave of the virus and further spread of infection. We also should not spread the virus in local communities by having the race.

With these matters in mind, we have made a decision to cancel the race.

We will also cancel the Green Festival which is scheduled on October 17th (Sat).

The right of the priority entry to the 28th HASETSUNE CUP due to the cancellation of the 12th HASETSUNE 30K is not carried forward.
